In the Pre-K Room, we strive to make your child feel welcomed upon arrival. We recognize that transitioning from home to school can be challenging, so we begin our day with free choice activities at various centers.

Each day includes circle time, during which students select jobs, learn about time through our calendar, and discuss our theme for the day. The Funshine Express curriculum typically divides the month into two themes, offering hands-on learning experiences aligned with each. Weekly, we focus on concepts from math, science, art, and literacy, working through the alphabet and introducing sight words. Our goal is to foster social-emotional development, helping each child build character.

We use the ProCare App to share photos and videos, communicate with parents, and facilitate daily sign-in and sign-out. We see ourselves as partners with you in nurturing your child’s growth at Lyrical City Preschool.
